The health, security and comfort of your companion is our number one concern at
Grandpaws Place. For this reason, we clean and disinfect the kennel areas and cat rooms
every morning and continue cleaning all day long, because a clean kennel is a healthy
kennel.
The whole building has in floor radiant heat, air conditioning, and piped music in all the
rooms. An air purifying system is changing the air several times an hour in the kennel
area. We strive to maintain the excellent reputation our kennel has earned for cleanliness
and hygiene.
All the enclosures in the dog kennel are manufactured entirely of stainless steel for ease
of cleaning. The chain link fencing is also manufactured from stainless steel, and is
specifically designed for use with animals. The fencing is more tightly wound than regular
fencing, and wire ends are positioned to avoid cutting paws.
For optimum health, your friends are served filtered water and their water bowl is checked
and changed regularly. Our guests are given a clean blanket daily and Kuranda hammock
beds are also available. Breakfast is around 9:00am and dinnertime is 4:30pm, we serve
high quality Innova brand holistic food at mealtime and quality treats. Bedtime, complete
with cuddle and a biscuit, is around 8:00pm. You may bring your own food if you prefer
and we have a fridge to accommodate special needs. We offer daily Nature Walks in the
woods but everyone has playtime in our grassy fenced area about every two hours.
